Recycling Wrapping Paper

Christmas Paper Sun Catchers

This was a lovely picture May made at school .It looks great on my window .The idea behind it is simple and easy for primary children to do. Fold the black paper in half and draw half a tree coming from the folded edge. Cut along your tree then when you open it out you have a whole tree.
Turn over the paper and glue down strips of light coloured paper.
I thought this was a clever idea ,that can use up left over wrapping paper. Its cheap, easy to make and looks great !

Paper bird craft for Children

Fan Birds

May made these birds over the Christmas holiday. They became part of our tree decorations.
The top bird was decorated with Blo Pens the second silver sticky tape. Children of all ages can make the birds and can decorate them any way they like. The wings are made from a fan folded in half and the bird body is cut from cardboard. I have put some photo's below to show how easy it is to make the fan birds.

Easy Kids Origami

Recycling Paper and keeping kids busy

While James is busy trench building, May has been busy using up most of the paper and card in our house. Origami is her favourite at the moment, she was well chuffed with the results.

Will put up some instructions in our Recycling page soon ,but have a look just now, Origami Basket instructions are already there.
