My First go at Butterfly Decorations
My daughter has been looking for more decorations for her bedroom. I had spotted some lovely butterfly decorations in a shop but thought they were a bit expensive ,so thought I would try making my own. Still a work in progress but I'm getting there.

Children's Craft Clay Tree's
Autumn Tree's
My kids love clay, both find it relaxing .Last week it was clay tree's, May finished them off with paint, glitter and sequins. We were talking about the summer ending so they became tree's of Autumn.
I know a lot of people worry about the mess clay makes, my cheat is bin bags! Cut them down the middle and cover the table, throw away afterwards. Same mess just easier to clean up.

Homemade Cardboard Photo Frames
May painted a Spitfire for her brother over the holidays, she decided the plane would look good with spots. James the nice big brother thanked her { after i warned him not to pull her up about the spots ,But mum was the reply ! } Next came the frame, then it was trying to explain to May that James didnt want a pink or gold or silver {that took a bit longer } I have put the instructions on our Recycling Craft page another easy make for kids.

Learning about colours
Children's Colour Wheel
Over the past few weeks, I ran out of paint. May and James managed to use up all my poster paint. Thank goodness for Asda £1 a bottle. At the moment May is into experimenting with colour, so it was a good chance to introduce her to colour wheels. Its simple to make and teaches kids about colours. Especially ones like mine, who need to do the action rather than read about it.
