Homemade Spelling Game

Monster's Mealtime

This little monster posting box was made from a cardboard soap powder box and some card. You can use counters or sweets to play a fun spelling game. The counters or sweets are food for the monster ,the child is given the same amount of words to try and spell. If they misspell a word they lose the sweet to the monster.
In my house it always works best with sweets May doesnt get sweets that often so its the best bribe!

One bit of thread tied round under the ball and we have a ghost! If you want to hang him up sew a long bit of thread on to his head.
