Recycling Wrapping Paper

Christmas Paper Sun Catchers

This was a lovely picture May made at school .It looks great on my window .The idea behind it is simple and easy for primary children to do. Fold the black paper in half and draw half a tree coming from the folded edge. Cut along your tree then when you open it out you have a whole tree.
Turn over the paper and glue down strips of light coloured paper.
I thought this was a clever idea ,that can use up left over wrapping paper. Its cheap, easy to make and looks great !

Christmas Paper Craft Idea's for Children

Placemats and Lanterns

May always makes decorations for our dinning table at Christmas. She loves making sure everyone is in their right place ! so every homemade placemat has a name on it .Along with lanterns and paper chains our living room is filled with many shades of pink .
We did draw the line at a pink Christmas tree, but her Gran gave in so she now has a lovely little pink Christmas tree in her bedroom .
For more idea's or if your looking for instructions for the placemats and Lantern go to our Christmas Page.
